Privacy policy

Last updated September 29, 2026

This page explains what information moonshotops.ca collects, why we collect it, who handles it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We collect as little as we can and we never sell it.

Who we are

moonshotops.ca is operated by Moonshot Ops Co. (Moonshot Ops, we, us), a consulting business based in Ontario, Canada. Mike Kitchen is responsible for how we handle personal information and is the person to contact about anything on this page.

What we collect, and why

When you take the growth assessment

Your answers and score are recorded without your name, email address or anything else that identifies you. We look at these results in aggregate to understand the challenges wellness retailers face. Seeing your score on screen doesn't require any personal information.

When you request your report

We collect the email address you enter, together with your assessment answers and score. We use it to know who requested a report and so that Mike can follow up with you once, personally, if it seems useful. We don't add you to a mailing list and we don't send automated emails. Your report itself is created in your browser and is not stored by us.

When you contact us or book a call

If you email or call us, we keep what you choose to share so we can respond. Calls are booked through Google Calendar appointment scheduling, and the details you enter there are handled under Google's privacy policy as well as this one.

When you visit the site

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't build a profile of you and doesn't track you across other websites. Like any website, our hosting and security providers also process technical information such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Cookies

We don't use cookies for advertising, tracking or analytics. Our security provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary cookie to protect the site from automated attacks. Because of that, the site doesn't need a cookie banner.

Who handles your information

We don't sell, rent or trade personal information. We rely on a small number of service providers to run the site and our business:

We may also disclose information where the law requires us to.

Where your information is stored

Some of these providers store information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information stored in another country is subject to that country's laws and may be accessible to its courts and authorities.

How long we keep it

We keep report requests and assessment results for no longer than 24 months, then delete them, unless you've become a client or you ask us to delete them sooner. We keep email correspondence for as long as we need it to work with you and to meet our record-keeping obligations.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show you the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can withdraw your consent to us using it. Email Mike at the address below and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with how we've handled a privacy concern, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

How we protect it

The site is served only over encrypted connections, and access to submissions is limited to Mike. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
